Our Mosquito Repellent is an all natural DEET FREE product that has evolved from many years of
testing. We learned, early on, that our pure Bat Guano, harvested from the Mexican Free-Tailed,
not only provided one of the finest natural fertilizers available but also had the unique quality of
repelling the mosquito. For several years we provided our customers with a combined product
(Fertilizer and Mosquito Repellent) in its pure form with great success.
After receiving numerous feedback, from our customers, we learned that a sufficient number of
them were not interested in having their lawn and garden growing at an accelerated rate but
were interested in our Guano's ability to repel the mosquito. In 2008, we launched an all out effort
to determine what caused our Guano to be such an effective repellent. After much study and
testing we decided that a by-product of the Guano (Chitin) was the main ingredient responsible
for its ability to repel mosquitoes. Our next task was to come up with a product that was easy to
use, effective and lacked the fertilizing capabilities. After an extensive period of testing our new
process, that was now a liquid, in areas known to be mosquito infested such as a tire storage
facility, a golf course and a cemetery success was once again found. The next step was to have
the product tested for its NPK (fertilizer qualities) value, the results returned an almost negative
NPK value, this meant that our process managed to extract the repelling quality while producing a
product that had a nearly negative effect as a fertilizer.
Although our repellent has an almost odor-free smell, a catalyst was needed to help in dispersing
the product and yet be chemical-free. The decision was made to use a hint of 100% pure Orange
Oil which provides the catalyst needed and created a light citrus odor that is pleasant to smell.
Although the lasting effect is somewhat shorter than its companion product, our 100% pure Bat
Guano Fertilizer and Repellent, testing has proven that a user can expect the repelling effect to
last up to 15 days, weather permitting.
